ALIEN STAGE touches down at Anime Expo 2025 with live drawing panel

Alien Stage is taking a brief break from its intergalactic reality show to make a pit stop at Anime Expo 2025.

Anime Expo has announced a special panel featuring VIVINOS and KANG PD, who will host a Q&A session with fans. VIVINOS will also treat attendees to a live drawing session. The event takes place on July 4 from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM in Room 403AB.

Created by VIVINOS and QMENG, Alien Stage is a multimedia web series produced by Studio LICO. Set in a future where aliens have invaded Earth, the show centers around a deadly singing competition where humans must perform to survive. Through animated music videos, comic panels, and illustrations, the series explores its characters’ hidden histories and emotional arcs.

Alien Stage has become a global phenomenon, with millions of views on YouTube. Its most recent video, “Wiege,” released in February 2025, has already surpassed 10 million views. The series is known for its unique storytelling format and emotionally charged performances.

In addition to the panel, TOKYOPOP previously announced its acquisition of the Alien Stage artbook. The release will include character profiles, world-building details, concept art, behind-the-scenes commentary, and exclusive illustrations. It’s not yet confirmed whether both the Special and Limited Editions will be available in English.

Anime Expo 2025 runs from July 3 to 6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
